I thought I'd try these since them come in a set of two and I'm glad I purchased. They both work perfect, fit in phone like they should and charge at a normal pace. Highly recommend!!

Your iPhone will give you a message that it's not a supported accessory, but it will charge your phone and the price is cheaper than I've seen in retail stores.

5Better than expected!
By RoxberryNY
Fits like a glove, doesn't obstruct any functions. Adds a nice grip and bulk to a thin small phone. Inner lining is nice and smooth not like most two layer cases that I've seen which are almost tacky and create an anti skid feeling. This case is nice and smooth. Better than expected :) ordered on a Sunday and got it on Wednesday so shipping was great too.

1LifeProof Warranty is Outrageous
By James Wynne
I purchased this product for my iPad about a year ago and love it. In fact I loved it so much I bought one for my iPhone as well as the wife's iPhone. A couple of months ago, I purchased another LifeProof case for my wife's iPad...though a different color of course. I recently (about a week ago) surprised her with it and so this weekend (8/10/13) she decides to put it all together. However, when she ran the leak test the unit failed. So we pulled the gaskets out cleaned them off with a damp rag, re-inserted them and tested again and again...but the lead test continues to fail. I even pulled my LifeProof apart and used its gasket for a test...but it still failed. I am now looking to just get a replacement but since it has been greater than 30 days since I ordered it, we are out of luck. Really?? I paid $150 for this and only get a 30 day warranty from the manufacturer and Amazon as well? This is a brand new item removed from the box and I get nothing for it since I didn't open it right away. For a company, LifeProof, that touts their product as being the best on the market for what it does, they certainly don't have much faith in its longevity.
This really is a great product and would well deserve a five star rating, however be warned that if you are purchasing this product...test it out as soon as you get it...for if you don't and it fails the leak test past the 30 days of purchase...it will be you who just took the bath.

1one fall, one shatter, no coverage from LifeProof
By kathleen wallace
I am astounded by the horrific experience I have just had with my iPad LifeProof case. I am a teacher and have been using my iPad for my job which requires me to travel through junior high hallways each passing period. I figured I'd better get the best case possible since I would likely drop the iPad at some point in the school year. I bought the LifeProof case, thinking it would protect my iPad. I have used the case for exactly 2 weeks and have not dropped it a single time. Last night my son dropped my ipad from his hands, it fell on a tile floor, and the entire screen shattered into hundreds of tiny shards. I was ASTOUNDED. It was as if there had been no case at all. Are you kidding me? I guess the "proof" is in the puddin' - or the shards, as the case may be. This morning, I called LifeProof and spoke to an actual human being who told me that they warranty the case itself. So, if the case had cracked into shards, they will warranty the case but the item inside gets no coverage whatsoever. This case has literally dropped one single time and my iPad is utterly ruined; the case did not protect it in the smallest way. Despite the video they have imbedded in their website, where people are dropping it on the side walk and it's getting whipped off a taxi, this will NOT protect your electronic device when you really need it to. I will return the case because it's been less than 30 days and I will never buy this ridiculously expensive, useless product again. Be ye warned!!!! - LifeProof neither protects nor replaces your electronics - and watch your eyes, my son now has an irritation in his eye from the spray of glass dust.

1A bit annoying ...
By T. Wynia
ONLY buy this if you MUST have a fully water/dust proof case !!! Its a great product for what it really is and really admire the o-ring design but this is not for the very large majority of people. I use my iPad for GPS in an open off road vehicle in heavy dust and rain so perfect for me but gave it a low review as this product is pushed heavily to the mainstream users when it should not be:

- Speaker is muffled and at least 25% less sound and loose some serious fidelity
- The Nuud idea of no screen protector is a cool thought but I really think all of us want some screen protection especially at this price point and cost of an iPad. Atleast it does come with the snap on face cover but its really only practical for storage in my opinion. Weird that when removed it wont snap ontot he backside of the case so its an extra loose item to carry around. It also has a built in kickstand and thus doubles as a stand so that is nice but still not well thought out as only good for landscape orientation. Expect a lot more at this price point in general.
- Only OEM charger will fit ... had to buy adapters for all my chargers and most don't fit and need to be modified
- The door design for charger makes it a little tricky (you get use to it) to insert the charger
- My headphones wont plug in by simply removing the waterproof plug (which is a bit annoying in general). have to use the adapter to make contact properly so its another thing dangling off the case which is annoying.
- Very bulky but good quality
- SUPER Expensive ... throw in a good NUUD screen protector film custom cut (Zagg) to maintain waterproof and getting way up as cant use a standard film screen protector

Was hoping I could tolerate this case to still use it for work also when I don't need waterproof and tried to get use to it but I am going to a standard cover/case for normal use. Really surprised how many of these have sold and are pushed heavily in the big box stores too ... it should be a niche only product.

5works like a charm
By Brandon P.
I purchased this cable in order to watch content from my Lenovo T410 laptop on a HD TV. The laptop has a DisplayPort (DP++) output and the TV has HDMI input.

Simply by connecting the ends of this cable to my laptop and TV, I had an 720p HD image of my laptop screen almost instantly. However, there was no audio.

The lack of audio was *not* due to any flaw in the cable. In the process of troubleshooting, I saw several websites which simply blamed this sort of no-audio problem on a "cheap cable" -- but, while this cable is certainly inexpensive (which is one of the reasons I got it!), it has no trouble carrying audio (and very clear audio, at that).

I eventually found a Lenovo forum which held the answer: "First go to your audio settings by going FN + F6, choose 'Audio Defaults + Settings'. Then choose your TV as the default audio."

This did the trick for me -- I instantly had audio (both through the laptop speakers and the HD TV).

The poster on the Lenovo forum also had this piece of advice (which I never followed, since the first step solved the problem for me): "Now the sneaky part. Push FN + F7 and choose 'Projector Only', then sound will come out of the TV. Took me forever to figure out." Again, I had no need to do this, but I'm re-posting it in case someone else does.

In summary, after some fiddling with my cpu's settings, this cable delivered all that was promised: crystal clear audio and visual from my laptop to my HD TV. Note: I have only used the cable on a handful of occasions during the past few weeks, so I'm not in a good position to evaluate its durability. As a previous reviewer has mentioned, when the DisplayPort end connects to the computer, it "latches" into place, and a small panel must be pressed in order to release it -- this "release latch" doesn't feel like the most sturdy thing in the world, but it hasn't given my any problems so far, and handled gently, I would imagine that it will continue to function just fine.

5great cable
By Chris
I had been looking for something to hook my Lenovo ThinkPad T420 up to an HDMI based display (both a projector and a 40" TV). I almost ordered one of the cheap adapters I found on Amazon until I read the reviews that they got stuck in the Display Port on the computer and would not come out. I then opted to go for a cable with the Display Port on one end and the HDMI on the other end. This cable is great. Does exactly what I needed it to. I get full 1920 x 1080 on both the projector and TV which is the resolution they support, and the sound goes through as well. Couldn't be happier.

5Excellent. The only 25' DisplayPort to HDMI cable I could find and it works great.
By S. Power
My HP EliteBook 8560p has a DisplayPort video output on it instead of the older HDMI type of port. There are a pretty good number of "adapters" on the market, and also short cables, but I wanted a durable end-to-end solution with none of the opportunities for issues that an adapter introduces. I wanted to get this cable from AmazonBasics or from Cables-to-Go, because I've have very good luck with both of them. As it turned out, when I was shopping, this one from "Cable Matters" was the only option that met my needs. I am happy to say, that I am not disappointed at all. The cable does great at sending high definition 1080P 120hz video and high definition audio from my laptop's DisplayPort to my TV's HDMI input. It works wonderfully, and I'm very happy.

The cable is well made and has good, solid, connectors on both ends. It is the correct length and was packaged properly. It is malleable, yet solid.

I have no complaints at all about this cable. The price was a little steep at $25, when I bought it, but considering there is no competition yet for this length cable, I'm not too surprised or upset. I can remember paying two or three times that amount for a similar cable at brick and mortar stores, back before there were alternatives.

I highly recommend this cable. If there is anything else that you'd like to know about it, that I forgot to put in this review, please let me know in the comments section, and I'll address it.

4A perfect case but they did not install the magnets for the Sleep/Wake function! Come on man, what were you thinking!
By jjceo
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R38HSXAUJRZZE3 I have used Otterbox defender cases for years and I have purchased them for my iPads and iPhones. I have also purchased 4 of them for friends and family as gifts. This model is really the best one yet for protection and clarity of the screen for the iPad Air. There is only one major issue for me and that is the fact that Otterbox did not include the magnets in the snap on lid to put the iPad to sleep or to wake it up to conserve battery power.

I put together a video to show the benefits and features of this new case and basically it is nicely designed. I like the screen shield as it is clear and easy to see through and use. That has been my major complaint in the last two generations of iPad Defender cases and frankly I cut the screen shield out of the old cases as they made the retina screen look granulated and it diminished the quality of the screen image. This model has a clear shield and it really is very good when compared to the older versions.

The synthetic rubber outer layer is tight and the texture on it is very nice. It will not show scuffs and finger prints as easily as the one I have on my iPad 3.

I have to tell you that I am upset about the failure of Otterbox to put the two magnets into the snap on lid for the sleep/wake function. For me that is a major feature. I review a lot of products and I have already reviewed multiple cases with the magnets built in and even Bluetooth keyboard cases for the iPad Air with this feature. There simply is no excuse for having not included this feature that conserves iPad battery power. For me the case was just rushed to market to make shipments for the Christmas season as the expense of loyal customers that would have simply expected this feature as a standard built in part of the design. It is like buying a car and not getting brakes on the car. Just think, who would even think to ask if a car came with brakes or not or if an $89.95 case had a basic sleep/wake feature for an Apple iPad.

I rated this case as a four star item and it would have clearly been a 5 star review with this feature built in. Dear Otterbox, come on man, what were you thinking!

1Extremely disappointed in this case.
By jambi
I'm extremely disappointed in this case. I had an iPad 3 and an OtterBox Defender case to go with it and never had any issues with it at all. In fact it was - and still is - by far the best tablet protecting case I've been able to find.

Fast forward to just recently when I upgraded to the new iPad Air. I came here looking for an OttterBox Defender case and couldn't find one. Went to their website and couldn't find one there either. I ended up buying a temporary case from Amazon until I could find a Defender. Finally they became available here on Amazon. I purchased it, though I thought $89 was a little steep for a case, especially since I only spent around $50 or so for the last one. However, I felt at the time it was worth it as I'd become a fan of the Defender series.

I just received the case in the mail. Opened it up and immediately noticed the magnets that were in the lid to put the device to sleep when the lid is closed were not there. Doing a bit of researching, it seems OtterBox has decided to remove one of the main benefits of the case (the magnets for putting the device to sleep when the lid is closed) and jack the price up an extra $30 or so.

Completely unacceptable, in my opinion.

Come on, OtterBox. I've been a fan of your products for a while now. I've used them for my tablets as well as my phones, and I've talked friends, family members, and coworkers into purchasing them as well. I expected much, much more from you than this.

4Having had an Otter Defender Case for my iPhone the ...
By dhechinger
Having had an Otter Defender Case for my iPhone the past year, I anticipated purchasing the just released Defender Case for the iPad Air. It is a substantial case, shipped in several parts, with a minimalist instruction sheet packed inside. The positive points included the fit and finish of the product and the case's built in four-way stand (2 vertical and 2 horizontal options for respective portrait and landscape use). The case weighs 1 lb, 1 1/2 oz, a little more than the bare iPad Air (obviously, protection was the primary consideration in the design). With the plastic rear component (containing the stand), the case is one inch thick and ten and a quarter inches long. Negative points were the three broken fingernails during assembly and a scratched plastic screen protector (I will request a replacement from Otter). Had the assembly been less dramatic, and the plastic screen protector not been scratched, I would have given a higher score.

Dec.13...After contacting customer service re: the defective item, and forwarding two images of the case, I have been told I would receive a replacement as soon as they become available (backordered at this time). Upon receiving the new component, I will reevaluate my rating...dh

January...requested and received a replacement case from Otter. Replacement plastic screen protector was also scratched (quality control re: plastic screen protectors appears less than optimal ), but increased rating by one star in that Otter made a good faith effort to replace original case. Printed instruction sheet needs to be reviewed along with online video to reduce frustrations incurred while assembling.

5ASUS M11AD-US006O
By Bryan Feldman
I selected this computer for speed and reliability. Since it was to be used primarily for software development, I didn't need a graphics card. And I definitely didn't want Windows 8. So far (after about a week) I am very satisfied.

When the computer arrived it was well packaged. I opened it up to make sure everything was intact and seated securely; it was. Inside this computer is simple and neat with well-routed wires and lots of open space.

The computer has the Core i7-4770S processor running at 3.10 GHz, not 3.4 as stated, and 16 GB (15.7 usable) RAM. It includes Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1. It has a 2 TB hard disk which is divided into two partitions: WIN7 (C:) which has 745 GB usable and DATA (D:) which has 1.07 TB available and comes completely empty.

It comes with some Asus bloatware, some of which run at startup and you may want to disable. Some of the apps may be useful but I have not looked into them yet. This computer includes Bing Bar which states it will collect information about you and you must agree in order to accept the Windows license agreement. And it includes McAfee Internet Security 2012 edition with a one-month subscription.

Initial setup is straightforward and smooth. Once it's complete, you have an option of making a system image backup, which worked well, used four DVDs and took about two hours. First thing I did after that was to remove the Bing Bar and install a non-Microsoft browser.

It has two front USB 2.0 ports and four rear. I would have liked more but I use a small, unpowered hub to attach more stuff. It also has two USB 3.0 ports in the rear. One in the front would have been useful for external hard drives. Note the image of the back of the computer shown on this page is not the correct one and the features pictured there vary significantly from this PC; you can download the documentation from the Asus website to see what it really looks like. The PC is quiet except for a somewhat noisy hard drive, but I am comparing it to my old system; it had an SSD which of course is silent.

The motherboard-based Intel 4600 graphics has 1.75 GB of RAM, supports two HD monitors with Aero Glass, and performs well for my non-gaming use. Also built in is Realtek High Definition Audio. It has a 350-watt peak, 286-watt continuous power supply.

Here's the key point about this computer: it is FAST. Really, really fast. Large programs like Eclipse ADT and Photoshop load amazingly quickly. Big software projects compile in half the time they used to or less even though my prior machine was not slow. The Windows Experience Index gets a 5.9 overall score with the primary hard disk data transfer rate scoring lowest (5.9), graphics scoring 6.7, and RAM and processor scoring a lovely 7.7.

It came with a keyboard and mouse which I did not use and so cannot comment on. The case feels solid and well-made and is handsome and not too big.

Any more questions, please ask and I will add them to this review.

5Awesome phone, incremental upgrade from SIII
By rpv
Galaxy S4 is an incredible phone. I have been using this unlocked S4 for past 2 days helping a friend to migrate from iPhone 4S. My friend has been on iPhone and it also gave me a unique perspective. I used iPhone for couple of years and been using Android for past 3+ years.

I have used Galaxy S3, Note II and for me S4 is more like a S3s :) If you have a Galaxy S3, it is perfect and there is no need to move to S4. The new features are more like minor upgrades for me. Just like Detroit rolls out new cars every year, phone manufacturers have found excellent way to make yearly upgrades.

Battery came for almost a day. The video playback was crisp and my friend was amazed at the customization options. It is heaven for a iphone user to come out of shackles and explores the wonderful world of Android. It sure sounds like it is for geeks, but Samsung has created lot of ways to simplify and make it less intimidating. The EASY mode is for one such reason. Samsung's addition of all those apps (commonly referred as crapware) is not as bad as HTC or LG. Android experience is classified as pure vanilla in phones like Nexus. Vendors like Samsung have added a whole lot of extra programs.

5" HD Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 display (441 ppi) is just plain gorgeous. 13 MP camera takes ginormous image sizes. I put a 64 GB microSDXC card SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra MicroSDXC Class 6 Memory Card with SD Adapter - Retail Packaging as my friend wants to take lot of movies (built-in 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM). No stuttering, and very smooth playback of videos captured in varying light conditions (HD Playback; HD Recording). Compatible video types are AVI/DIVX, WMV/ASF, FLV, MKV, MP4/3GP, WEBM. HDR and Panaromic photos were incredibly sharp. Compatible audio types are: AAC, AMR, MP3, OGG, WMA/ASF, 3GA/M4A, FLAC, WAV. Google Music, PlayerPro Music player are producing excellent music. Audio/Video is one section where S4 has nudged S3. For a normal user, if you are not into lot of video processing this does not matter.

S4's infrared sensor is the same technology as TV remote control, so with WatchON you can change the TV channel from your phone. My friend was shocked to see this feature. Having used Android for a long time, I explored all new features one by one. My friend is still getting used to and feels this is too complicated. I broke down into lot of sub features and told my friend he may not use 50% of features, but told him to explore one feature at a time and focus on that.

Games were very buttery, this phones runs ARM®-based octa-core mobile CPU. This is apparently world's first! Inside this chip is Imagination Technologies' PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU. I tried several car racing games and performance was phenomenal. People on the XDA-Developers forum report seeing smearing and ghosting when scrolling on the phone. This especially occurs to people when scrolling among darker colors, which begin showing up as purple. I tried hard to see if I could on the S4 I was testing with my friend and I could not see it. I am sure these can be upgraded with software over due course.

Air View and Air Gestures - are they worth it? Air view is similar to how the S-pen on the Galaxy Note 8 works. Simply hover finger a few millimeters above the screen and in supported apps, you'll see a preview of content. This works with many of Samsung's built-in apps, including the photo gallery, the dialer, Samsung's browser and email client. It also works with Flipboard. Air View works by cranking up the capacitive sensor on the screen. Another new feature is Air Gestures. This uses the IR sensor on the top of the phone to detect movement by your palm or finger. One can flip between open tabs in Samsung's browser app, skip to a new song in the music player and do many other things. I say these are still in works and sometimes not very efficient.

GPS was spot on and I tried multiple GPS apps. It was bright outdoors (had to crank the brightness all the way up). I tried multiple apps to demonstrate to my friend. In the end, my friend was impressed with what all Android and in particular S4 had to offer. Smooth and Stunning display!

I tried following apps and they just worked awesome.

Amazon Mobile
Android Status
Androidify
Angry Birds (Space/Seasons)
Asphalt 7
