Took this on a recent trip to Iceland. Yes, the fan was a bit loud, especially in a tiny hotel room. However, the weight, convenience and quality far outweighed the fan noise for me. I was able to charge all my U.S. electronics and even rechargeable batteries with the combination of plugs and USB ports.
NOTE: Not appropriate for high voltage devices, such as hairdryers.

The wife and I ordered this baby a week before our honeymoon to Indonesia (Jakarta & Bali), and then we spent a week in Dubai.
My wife had her Macbook pro, an IPAD, and her IPhone. I on the other hand, had my Sony Vaio, Galaxy S4, and electric shaving kit. Overall, every single device worked! The USB plugs were used to charge the phones, While the 110 sockets supplied the power and overnight charges needed to work on our laptops simultaneously.
I was skeptical at first because of the comments that everyone was leaving about the "Noisy Fan"... Seriously People???? Get a Life! My wife and I were more annoyed from the outside noise coming from the Drunken Idiots running through the streets partying, yelling, slamming doors, and shooting off fireworks all night long. As long as my wife and I could hear the whispering sound of the "Not so Noisy Fan", It was truly the sound satisfaction of us both knowing that all of our portable devices were being charged...
I would Highly Recommend getting one of these if you are planning to travel outside the USA...

I bought this prior to my 3 week work trip to Europe and I can't believe how handy it was. I had a MacBook, ipad, iPhone, electric razor and beard trimmer, and multiple portable batteries and I could charge everything all at once! Also with the power conversion I didn't have to worry about shorting out my electronics. Very compact and literally weighs nothing. If you're looking for a great power source while traveling internationally and worried about weight or power conversion this is the unit for you. Only con I'd say is the fan in the unit runs a bit loud. But aside from that I think this is a great product. Well worth the price.
