1Very disappointing
By SamIAm
I've had Mophie Juice Packs for my iPhones 3 and 4 and they were awesome products. So I didn't even think about buying any other brand when the 5 came out. I love the battery life and I actually like the feel of the iPhone 5 with the Mophie better than without. It just seems to fit my hand better and it also adds some grip.
Then reason I'm giving it 2 stars is their implementation of the USB connection. On the past two models for iPhones 3 and 4, the USB connector was a complete passthrough device. You plug it in where iPhones go and it just works. Unfortunately with the 5 they don't pass through the connection. I opened a support case about it and Mophie said that the pass through was not necessary since the 5 will sync wirelessly. That is indeed the case, however now when I plug my phone into my iPhone connection in my car it no longer sees the phone. So I have to remove the Mophie every time I want to use my phone as an audio source in the car. I don't think that their engineers through through the implementation properly. In my case this is critical flaw worthy of the 2 star rating.
So I'll just buy another iPhone case and keep the Mophie in the drawer until I have a specific need, such as a long flight.

And update to this review. On top of the connector issue, the power switch is poorly designed. It tends to get switched on when you carry it around in your pocket. So I'm changing my review to 1 star. No more Mophie for me.

1Ripped off
By Brian33
I bought this for work and it stopped charging after the 30 days return with Amazon, so I followed up with Mophie. Mophie sent the it back to me saying it is counterfeit. The company that sold it on Amazon (Case Space)does not reply to my emails that I have to post through Amazon. Case Space are apparently criminals and Amazon dropped the ball.

4Not so MINI, but a good surge product overall.
By R. Ocampo
I've been searching for a product that can extend the outlet on my bathroom for the electrical products that I use. I finally came across this Belkin mini surge protector and features:

- 3 AC power outlets
- 2 USB outlets ONLY for charging (not data transfer) at 5V / 500mA at each port
- Surge protection on all 5 outlets
- 918 Joules Energy Dissipation
- 125V / 15A / 1,875W Continuous Duty Electrical Rating
- 36,000A Maximum Spike Current
- Lifetime Warranty on product
- USD75,0000.00 connected equipment warranty
- 360 degree rotating plug lockable into 4 possible positions

Simple, elegant design in a smooth plastic casing of white and light grey colour. Once plugged, the green LED light will indicate if the power source is grounded.

The box comes with one USB to mini-USB cable to get you started in charging your USB devices as well.

DO NOT throw the prong cover that initially comes attached to the surge protector prong. As the manual states (for those who still care to read the User Manual these days), you can use this plastic prong cover to help further balance the device against any surface. You do this by inserting the plastic prong cover on the bottom of the surge device via a small notch. Also, the plastic cover is handy to use when traveling. Before dumping the surge protector along with your other devices, cover the prongs to prevent it from scratching other objects.

The prongs can be rotated 360 degrees loosely. However, there are 4 positions that enable you to lock it so it doesn't flail along clumsily in any direction. You do this by pressing into the rear a "release button". It's not a raised button, but a flat plastic portion that you have to press hard in order to release the lock. It's quite difficult (at least with the model I received) at first and feels like I'm going to break the plastic button. But I guess if this is normal then it can be construed as a safety measure so it doesn't easily rotate with a simple touch.

IMPROVEMENTS:

The term "mini" is subjective. It isn't really that compact as I would assume from seeing the photo. It is small, yes. However, as a surge protector that can take 3 AC and 2 USB outlets, I will give Belkin the benefit of naming it a mini device.

I would STRONGLY prefer the re-design of the spacing on the AC outlets by allowing larger plugs connected side-by-side. As it is right now, only normal AC plugs and not block-style plugs are allowed without loosing all three outlets. So my proposal is to delete the middle AC outlet and move it to the end-cap of the device (opposite to the 2 USB outlets). As of now, there is nothing there so rather than cramp the 3 AC plugs, then move the third at the end and thus allowing for block-style plugs to be used and still retaining the 3 AC functionality.

OVERALL:

I would not hesitate to recommend the purchase of this surge protection for compact spaces as well as travel purposes especially with the lifetime warranty and amount of protection is offers.

Take note of the selling price Amazon and the others are selling this at. It's ridiculous to see the selling price of this exact device can range anywhere from USD10 to USD30.

Lastly, BE AWARE of the SPECS so you know if the USB device you are plugging is capable of being charged.

4Nice wall mounted surge protection with a slight vampire load
By Chris Jaronsky
I was shopping for surge suppressors and came across this Belkin wall mounted unit. I like wall mounted units better because I hate having power strips laying on the floor. This unit has the added bonus of having two USB charging ports on it.

Pros,
- 2 USB charging ports for phones, IPODs, etc.
- wall mounted.
- $25,000 insurance protection.

Cons,
- The USB chargers always draw a small bit of electricity even when not being used. I plugged this surge protector into my Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor and found it drew a small current.
- The $25,000 insurance policy has some small print. Every cable going into your protected device needs to be run through an approved Belkin device. So if you plug in a TV, the coax connector has to be plugged into a Belkin device. Protecting a PC? You need to be using wireless, or you need to have your network cable going through an approved Belkin device. Not a major problem, just make sure you are actually covered by the insurance policy BEFORE a disaster hits.
- The outlets in my house are the square, flat type that do not have a center screw hole to mount this unit. I had to change the outlet to a standard outlet which since I had everything on-hand, and am comfortable with electrical work, took me about 5 minutes.

My overall opinion of this item is that it does its job as advertised. If it fits your needs and the slight vampire power load do not bother you, then it will work out just fine for you.

2USB output too low
By DP
**This review relates to the 1 Amp, 3-outlet version and was posted prior to the introduction of the new products and eventually being combined.

To get directly to this items flaw... It cannot recharge/power more than one USB item at a time. So what's the point in having two USB outputs?
The 120V outlets work as advertised. The ability to rotate the prongs is a plus as it can be adjusted to most if not all outlets.
The USB power fails if more than one item at a time is plugged into the surge protector. Even if, say your phone is fully charged, if you go to connect another item to run or charge, the surge protector will not supply the power that both items demand. The items that are connected will act as if they have been disconnected from their power source, then once the surge protector accumulates enough power(not certain, but seem to act as if there are capacitors)to start supplying power once again the items connected to the USB ports start to operate briefly until the surge protector cannot supply enough power for the two items.
As stated before, it will supply ONE item with power, without a problem. But will not supply enough power for two, even if one item is fully charged.

** Thank you Jeff Backe, I've been putting off editing this post in response to all the people saying that '500mA is the standard' for quite some time. This 500mA WAS the standard well before I made this purchase. The newer standard for wall chargers, which I believe this falls under, has been out since around mid 2007. This new specification is UP TO 1800mA(1.8A) per port.
When I made my purchase there also weren't the nice pictures that show you the current rates. So there really wasn't any way for me to know this until I received it.
Another thing, this item is rated at 500mA(.5mA) per port but is not actually limited to 500mA at the port if you only plug in one item. In other words, the way this item is configured it will actually put out the full 1000mA(1A)through one port, hence the reason you can plug in a high current draw device using one port. But when you plug in that second item the 1000mA is now split in half or however much each device is trying to draw. It is only able to keep up with this high demand for a short while until its capacitors are drained and cuts off supplying power, then quickly recharges the capacitors and re-establishes the supply of power once again. This cycling can't be good for either device.

5The drive is great, but what's interesting is that Intel is also a price leader.
By Al
UPDATE: Amazon no longer sells this drive at the introductory price. Although the drive has increased in price, it's still an excellent SSD, and it's still extremely competitive on a $ per GB basis.

Intel is now a price leader in the 5-year warranty consumer space. This drive was (at Amazon's introductory price) almost the same price as the Samsung 840 Pro 128GB (before provisioning). Intel was giving 50% more space than the Samsung 840 Pro for nearly the same price. Even with the higher price, it's still a better deal per GB than the Samsung 840 Pro.

I have 5 SSDs on my personal computers. 3 of my 5 SSDs are Intel, my other 2 are Samsung 840 (Pro and non-Pro) drives. I have an Intel 330 120GB and 2 of these new 530 180GB drives. Synthetic benchmarks can show the advantages and disadvantages of all my different drives, but for all practical purposes, I can't tell the difference in my daily use. My backups show a small difference, but since my backups are automated weekly, it doesn't make any difference.

Both Intel and Samsung have excellent software packages.

Reliability and price rule my choices. Since flash drives wear out through the process of programming and erasing cells, and use wear-leveling to make the drives last longer, I did a search for these statistics.

A simple search of the reviews of my various drives shows my SSD's different program/erase (p/e) cycles. This is what I found:

Samsung 840 ~ 1,000 p/e cycles;
Samsung 840 Pro ~ 3,000 - 5,000 p/e cycles;

Intel 330 ~ 3,000 p/e cycles;
Intel 335 ~ 3,000 p/e cycles (I don't own this drive, but included it for comparative purposes);
Intel 520/525 ~ 5,000 p/e cycles (I don't own either of these drives, but included them for comparative purposes);
Intel 530 ~ I couldn't find any numbers on p/e cycles, but I would expect the drive to have between 3,000 - 5,000 p/e cycles.

I wouldn't be surprised if Intel is having difficulty keeping up their 520/525's 5,000 p/e cycles benchmark on the 530; Intel's 520/525 uses 25nm NAND and the 530 uses 20nm NAND.

I haven't seen any reports of Samsung moving to sub-20nm NAND, but Micron (Intel's partner in flash memory) has reported that IMFT (Intel Micron Flash Technologies) is already moving to 16nm production as I write this. I doubt if Samsung can keep up with Intel's semiconductor process technology; the Samsung 840 (non-Pro) uses TLC (triple level cell) NAND, and is already at 1,000 p/e cycles.

Although my Samsung 840 and 840 Pro have class leading controllers in the consumer space, the 840's (non-Pro) durability remains hugely questionable given that it's rated at 1,000 p/e cycles; I use this drive on my 85 year old father's computer -- he only uses his computer to browse the internet, and Win8 only uses about 35GB of space.

Samsung has a notorious customer service record. Even now, recent reviews on the Samsung 840 Pro show that there are plenty of conflicting reports on whether the 840 Pro has a 3-year or a 5-year warranty -- Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware), especially on the Samsung 840 (non-Pro) drive.

While Samsung may find it difficult to scale it's NAND process technology lower, consumers are benefiting from Intel's lower prices.

5This SSD is compatible with MacBook Pro 13" (Mid 2012) Non-Retina
By Tan Yao Zong
I noticed that not many people left reviews about this product and its compatibility with MacBook, so here's what i gathered so far based on my usage! =)

Laptop Model: MacBook Pro 13" (Mid 2012) Non-Retina
OS: Mac OSX 10.9 Mavericks AND Bootcamp Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

About the product:
Item came in a good sturdy box, and was easy to install. But there was no USB to SATA cable, so those of you who prefer installing the OS on the drive before physically mounting it into your MacBook, you may want to consider getting this cable first. For myself, I clean installed the OS 10.9 from a USB thumbdrive after fitting it into the MacBook.

Compatibility with MacBook Pro:
Boot time:6-8s
Shutdown time: 10-12s

I read on another forum that some other MacBook users experienced problems on a warm reboot (ie. the drive doesnt allow them to reboot after its been startup, and can only do a cold reboot), but so far I have not encountered any of such problems, even with both OSX and bootcamp installed.

Since installation (just a day ago), I'm liking every bit of it, especially the significantly faster bootup times, and that applications and processes are much snappier than before (I was previously using the stock Toshiba 500GB mechanical HDD that shipped with the MacBook).

So for those of you who have doubts over its compatibility with MacBook, i'd go as for to say that there certainly isnt any compatibility issues.. However, if optimisation for efficiency and power-saving features etc is your primary focus, I'm not so sure how well this performs just yet.. Certainly, the low price point (as compared to other brands of SSDs) is a heavy consideration that made me purchase this over the others..

1Received 2 Knock-off cases
By MINI
The actual case being advertised (the one manufactured by Belkin) is a fantastic, 5-star case. I know because I spent the $20 at a physical B&M store and have the authentic one on my own iPhone. My husband just got a new iPhone and so he wanted the case for himself and we were so excited to find it at such a good price on Amazon. Until we received it. Amazon, one of your suppliers is supplying you with FAKE cases. I initiated an exchange, and unfortunately, the second case is still a FAKE. So we're returning both and he'll just be shelling out the money for the real one from a store. The fake ones do NOT fit the device correctly-- they are not snug, there are visible gaps between the case and the edge of the phone. The smoky "tinted" sheerness is not the same. And there aren't serial numbers etched on the case. Amazon, please check with your vendors and/or listen to your customers.

So for those of you out there disappointed with this case, try to find one in a B&M store. The authentic Belkin case is quite nice and has definitely helped keep my iPhone in great shape for the last year. And just beware that sometimes "you get what you pay for" and "if it's too good to be true..." I'm sure some lucky Amazon customers received authentic cases, but I bet a lot have also received a fake one (or two), like we did.

I was very happy when I first received this case because the color was exactly what I expected.
HOWEVER, when I put the case on it did not fit my iPhone 5S at all. I had trouble pressing the buttons because they were off and the front corners were not protected at all. I absolutely do not recommend this product, very disappointing.

5Reasonably priced, gets full Amazon support behind it but makes sure this is what you need
By A. Dent
This is the most common USB cable these days for connecting 'something' to your computer but... beware of the 'Micro-B vs. Mini-B' interface confusion (read below) - if you are to use it with a phone or some other small and 'new' gadget, you may need a 'Micro-B' cable instead.

On this specific cable, everything is done right, including the price. It is USB 2.0 certified, meaning that it supports data transfer rates of up to 480Mbps and, if your device accepts a Mini-B plug, this is the cable to get. Maybe the 2-meter length (6+ ft.) is a little bit too much but it does not bother me a lot and there may come a time when a cable this long may come in handy.

While USB cables are clearly a commodity item these days, AmazonBasics does have a couple of advantages over the competition.

- EASY RETURN - I know because I had to return quite a few items for various reasons. Amazon makes it very easy and, if you are returning the item because it came defective or damaged Amazon pays for shipping.

- WARRANTY - these wires come with a 1-year warranty (talking about future-proofing). If a cable performs for one year, the odds that it would stop working after that are pretty close to zero. It's possible that the other vendors back their inexpensive cables too (I never checked) but I am highly confident that Amazon will be around to honor its warranty and I'm not so sure about vendors I know less.

- QUALITY ASSURANCE - I've never had any problems with 'cheap' USB or HDMI cables but it may be reassuring to have Amazon's name on a wire. My assumption is that Amazon did insist on some quality checks before they stamped their logo on the product.

- PRICE - This cable may appear more expensive than others but keep in mind that, unlike most, it qualifies for SuperSavers and Amazon Prime free shipping.

I am awarding this item 5 stars for price and quality - there's nothing to complain. However, I suggest that you look around before you place the order because you just might have one of these already as they tend to ship with many electronic gadgets these days.

______________________________________________

Notes:

Anyone in the market for a USB cable should be very careful because there are at least 6 kinds of USB connectors. If you are buying a cable that connects 'something' to your computer or laptop, the computer end of the cable will always be a USB-A or 'Type A' connector. At the other end, you may have a USB-B/Type B - a nearly square shaped connector used mostly to deliver power to a device but this is rare. Most likely, you will have a Mini-B or a Micro-B. The difference between the 2 is that the Micro-B is half as thick while the width is the same - Mini-B is 3x7mm while Micro-B is 1.5x7mm.

If your device (phone, PDA, camera) is a 'new' one and it's using USB, chances are that they will need a Micro-B connector because the industry seems to be adopting the 'Micro' form factor as its standard. If the above sounds simple, you should keep in mind that some devices require Mini-AB or Micro-AB connectors, also known as USB OTG (OnTheGo) devices.

My advice: before ordering any cable, make sure that you clearly understand what type of cable you need.

Whenever in doubt, do some more research and keep in mind that the 'Micro-B' (very small) is the emerging standard and it's likely to be found on the newer and smaller gadgets - phones, cameras, etc. but, before it we had the 'Mini-B' (this specific cable) so the older devices will need the 'Mini'.

5Great USB cable!
By Michael Sena
The debut of Amazon Essentials could not have been better timed for me. I have three portable hard drives (the kind that are powered solely through usb cables) and all of my existing cables were missing. Somehow over the summer they got thrown away or misplaced, so getting to my files on these portable hard drives was impossible. Even more frustrating was the fact that on my MacBook Pro from 2007, there's only one powered hi-speed USB port. The other one isn't hi-speed. So I had a USB hub that I couldn't use either.

Anyway, along comes Amazon Essentials with these amazingly cheap USB cables. I was cautious about buying USB cables from any place else because I could have just gotten normal USB cables, not ones that I could use to power my external portable hard drives and my USB Hub.
As soon as I saw these from Amazon though, my problems were solved. They're 6 feet/1.8m long, which is long enough to suffice for almost any application. The cords have gold-plated connectors - I'm not sure if that makes them USB cords from the high heavens, but it sure does make them look a lot nicer than the other ones I have lying about. And these cords are dirt cheap - Less than $3.75 for 6 feet... try getting something like that at a normal electronics store.

To close off my review, I'd like to say how happy I am with my purchase, and that I'll definitely be buying my future USB cables through Amazon Essentials!

4Almost Perfect
By Nicholas Ehlers
I ordered this case in anticipation of my iPhone 5 coming in. I actually had it for about a week before I got my phone. My only real concern with the case as I awaited my phone delivery turned out to be valid, and the main reason I give 4 stars instead of five.

This case is excellent. Its textured body not only feels good in the hand, but helps with grip. The kickstand on the back of the case is very handy, being that it's bi-directional (able to sit sturdy in either portrait or landscape position). The phone is more than steady enough on it, even when set upright in portrait position. One unexpected benefit from the kickstand is that I find myself opening up and using it as a finger hole, even when I don't intend to set the phone down. If I'm going to use the phone for longer than a couple of seconds, I'll pop the stand out and slide my ring finger through it. This serves as a kind of handle that makes me even less likely to drop the phone.

One of the smaller problems with the case, as mentioned by other reviewers, is that the tracks for the kickstand on the back (as well as a small space underneath the tracks) are open, leaving a portion (albeit a small one) of the phone exposed. I'm not really concerned with damage occurring as a result of this exposure. However, it does allow for more dirt and dust to get into the case. I actually purchased a back protector for my phone so that I wouldn't have to worry about this issue.

The bigger problem with this case (and, as mentioned above, the reason for one less star) is that it doesn't offer complete protection when off of the included holster. The pictures as listed on the item page on Amazon are shot with a black iPhone 5. Set against the black color of the case, it makes the coverage a little harder to see. A white iPhone 5 would betray the lack of coverage much easier (which I suspect is why they didn't use one in any of the photos). The last photo (as of the time of this review), one shot from the reverse with the kickstand out, shows just how little coverage there is on the top front (and subsequently the bottom front) of the phone. This isn't much of an issue when the phone is in the holster. However, we tend not to use the phone in its holster (bluetooth accessories not withstanding). We are much more likely to drop the phone when holding it against our ears, or when pulling it out of the holster (or a pocket or purse). All four rear corners are covered by the back of the case, but all four front corners are almost fully exposed. If the phone were to be dropped on a hard or uneven surface, there is a good chance for damage to the exposed parts. There simply isn't a good reason for the lack of protection on those corners.

Overall I find the case to be excellent. I use my phone to talk (duh) and for a lot of podcasts/music listening. To facilitate that I have a nice bluetooth stereo headset. My phone stays in its holster most of the time, so it's protected. But the case would be perfect if it just had front corner protection!

5Oh, wow!
By Kingmonkey
Oh, very very nice case. The grip is smooth rubbery so you grip it well. The bumper protects the sides with slots opened on the side for volume rocker access and top and bottom (though not completely covered to allow access to charger port and power button atop, vertical sides are completely covered/protected). The feel of the bumper feels very minimalist, as close to the phone's original feel with a bumper (I've troed other bumpers), still feels like I am experiencing the phone itself without bulk...yes, without bulk. Wow. the bumper can slip in and out of the holster without too much effort, but still with some resistance to keep it secure. The holster clip rotates so you can wear it vertical or horizontal and the inside holster has some fuzzy padding to protect the iphone screen when you slip it inside the holster (so the screen faces inside the holster to protect it while in the holster). When I put it all together the thought came to me "I should buy an extra . . . but I see no need to as this holster will lasts for the life of the phone." I would buy another . . it is that good and I am that happy with it. (The only thing from the actual item from the photo is the holster clip is shown as unbranded, plain no brand name, the one that came has the brand name in white lettering on the clip itself, which is not a bad thing and no one can see the clip when it is clipped to you). The price, under $10, you cannot beat! Last, kickstand is also, snaps into place and it strands vertically, do not think it works horizontally, so on your table instead of it laying flat, it stands up vertically for you to look at. I have to say again, the bumper case when I hold it in my hand, it feels good, not bulky, as close as you can get to the original iphone feel with a bumper; I guess it is fairly thin, and comfortable to type with it on.

My advice to you . . . get yours before they are sold out, seriously, these are really nice and a good fit!

5Great case
By OctaviousMonk
This I the same case verizon sells for 3 times more. I had this on my iPhone 4S and love it so much I got one for my iPhone 5. Fits phone well, kick stand rocks, feels great in your hand and the holster keeps it right at the top of my pocket out of danger from keys and other stuff. Put a screen protecter on and your set. Highly recommend it.

5Amazing piece of hardware
By Kev
I didn't buy my phone here, but I felt the need to leave a review about this device.

Sony has finally delivered a top tier phone. The look and feel are absolutely premium. I get the feeling that I am using a solid piece of hardware, unlike that glossy plastic feel and look you get in products from Samsung SGS line and the new iPhone 5C. The stock rom (Android 4.2.2) is the 1st stock I actually really enjoy using and don't feel the need to switch over to a custom rom. I really don't understand why this phone is not getting 5/5. Sony has put in a lot of effort into the design. With the ever so slightly edges at the corners. A real nice touch with the glass backing. They even went as far as putting in two holes in the bottom right corner to be used for a camera wrist strap. Such as one like this Nikon 25770 AN-CP19 Black Strap. There is a nice discreet LED notification light at the top middle of the phone. A small but well liked feature. It flashes white when you have a notification, flashes red when on low battery and stays orange when charging.

The screen is so nice. Out of the 5x3 inches of the phone the screen is 4.5x.2.5 inches. It looks right and when using it you really feel there is a really nice amount of screen real estate available to you. I am also glad they did not include and physical home button on the screen.

I haven't even got to the best part. The phone is waterproof and dustproof receiving certificate of military resistance IP58. How great is that? The phone has 16 GB of internal storage. Most people will never go over 10GB of data their phone. I don't understand why people try to point out it has low internal storage space in comparison to the Note 3 which has 32GB or 64GB and can take external microSD. Great for the Note 3! But, who really needs that much internal data on a phone? Try going on the cloud. If you need the extra space the phone can take up to 64GB microSD for the people who need to horde data. If you need to go that route I suggest getting a Class 10 64GB such as this SanDisk SDSDQUA-064G-U46A Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card 30MB/s with Adapter

The phones response time is so quick and smooth. I'm not going to give you the specifics on the internals but there is some seriously good hardware in the phone. I ran AnTuTu Benchmark and got a rating of 34789. If you do not know what that means, the Z1 is amazing. To give you a comparison the Note 3 got a 33814, HTC One 25651 SGS S4 25161 Nexus 7 20438. As you can see the Z1 is beating the rest in the benchmark scores which basically means it has the superior internal components.

My only bad thing I have to say, is i'm afraid this lovely glass finish is going to get scratched so I had to get a very nice case for it and a screen protector. VSTN®Sony Xperia Z1 Honami L39H ultra-thin PC Case Cover (For Sony Xperia Z1 Honami L39H, Black)

If you are going to install the screen protector yourself I highly suggest getting some anti-static spray and apply it before installing the screen protector. Getting a spec or 2 of dust under the screen protector looks ugly. If you are going to be spending all this money on a phone, go the extra mile and buy the spray. ACL Staticide 530 General Purpose Topical Anti-Stat, 4 oz Trigger Sprayer Bottle

This phone is the international edition so it recieves many different GSM radio frequencies and can be used with just about any GSM mobile network across the world. Just don't forget if you want to use your Mobile network data you have to put in the providers Access Point Name (APN). This can be found in Settings > More > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.

You will also need to set up your MMS network if you want to receive or send mms (picture messages). Go to Settings > More... > Internet Settings. Hit Accept then Select your Service Provider. It will install Internet & MMS settings.

The phone takes only microsim and is fully LTE capable, which I have no problem using on Tmobile's USA network. If you have a normal sim card and can't get a microsim immediatly, you can make your sim into a microsim with this. QQ-Tech Nano Sim Card Cutter Mini /Standard & Micro to Nano Sim for iPhone 5 iPhone 4, 4S and other Phones + Metal Tray + 2 Sim Adapters + Sand Paper, All in One Pack (In Stock Ready to Ship) Though, I highly suggest to get your providers official microsim if possible.

If you are into rooting and installing custom roms, the phone is easy to root and to unlock the boot loader.

The camera is 20.7MP. It takes good pictures during day time and has good flash for indoors, but the focus seems to "stutter". Nothing that can't be fixed, they just need to release a better software update to it. It is just an annoyance at most. The pictures I have taken so far have been really good. I haven't used it to take night time pictures yet, so I can't comment on that. There is a nice little added feature of a physical camera button on the bottom right. It makes it feel again as if you where taken pictures with a camera. It is a welcomed feature.

If you are worried about breaking the small watertight flaps for the phone when charging it, you can get the Sony charging station for it. Sony DK31 Cradle or Patuoxun Magnetic Charger Charging Dock Station Cradle For Sony Xperia Z1 L39h /Xperia Z Ultra XL39h Black

Overall this phone is an A+.

5Excellent phone that now replaces my iPhone
By MajesticRa
I think it is best or one of the top phones on market right now. I was fascinated by Xperia Z which my best friend obtained this summer. So I bought this Z1 and absolutely happy with it (had iPhone before).

1. 4G.
I have T-mobile and 4g works with it. The phone has pretty good connection most of the time network is accessible.

2. Sturdy.
The phone was severely fallen to concrete floor for 2 times. No cracks or any scratches on the glass sides. Small scratches on a flank side but no dents or deformations. I'm happy it is so sturdy (or I'm so lucky)))

2. Camera.
It takes good looking pictures even in tough exposition conditions like sunsets, background illumination etc. Can't say it is much better than iPhone 5 camera but I find it generally better. Night pictures have high iso noise. Focus has been improved after the last update.

3. USB.
I really enjoy the fact that if I plug the phone to pc by common micro-usb cable it may be detected as a simple storage. No stupid iTunes (You can install sony app from the phone if so you WANT. But you don't have to. At all).

4. Sync, Charge and Watertight flaps.
I sync the phone by wireless and use dock station Sony DK31 Cradle to charge it. So I don't open watertight flaps at all.

5. Water.
I haven't taken any photos under water yet but I did call the phone in spa bath and got the phone under rain. Also once it was in sand. No problems. Since that I like the idea that I can receive a call if I'm interrupted in a shower))

6. Software.
I've found much of the Sony software useless. Can't say it is bad nor good I just get used to other apps. Android has a giant apps market with a lot of alternatives.

7. Hardware.
The hardware is pretty fast. I haven't found any slow running or laggy application or game yet.

8. Battery.
As all slim smartphones with high-end hardware you have to put the phone on charger often. It takes 1 day or less to discharge in normal mode. 2.5 - 3 days in stamina mode. 1.5 - 2 days in normal mode with battery saving soft installed. I'm sure it will worsen when the battery exhausted in 1-2 years.

9. Screen.
Pretty sharp. I've found it good but not exceptional. I mean it is good, bright and sharp for reading, surfing, gaming. But pictures on my old iPhone are looking the same good as on calibrated LCD. Pictures on Z1 looks worse than on PC. I know the description is very subjective, but that is what I can say. Video works fine.

10. As a player.
I REALLY like that I can download any player from market and listen possibly ANY file format. WITHOUT iTunes. After 3 years of using iDevices I couldn't get used to it. I mean, managing my library by folders, putting music to phone by simple copying what I need and WHERE I need is much much more convenient for me than using iTunes.

11. Sound quality.
I compared Z1 output with V90-HPA headphone preamp using Sure 535 earphones. Surprisingly the difference is not so big at all. Z1 sounds brighter while V90 sounds softer and deeper. But there is NO such a gap like between laptop internal sound card and V90. I would be really impressed if the phone sounded better. But... I'm still impressed with the comparison.

FINALLY...
I'm happy I have it. I would recommend it among all the other devices of the same class that are currently on the market.

5You can even use it as a phone
By Frans Hoynck van Papendrecht
I do a lot of photography for my work, using a Canon dslr and two Nikon compacts. For two weeks now I also use my new Xperia Z1, that turns out to be good enough for a lot of shooting and that is very easy to carry arround.
It is the first camera I ever had that you can even use as a phone :-)

5eForCity 3 Pack Rubber Case Combo
By Rachel
I purchased the eForCity 3 pack combo, and it was delivered one week later. I am very happy with the 3 cases I purchased for only $6.00. I love the jelly cases because they protect my iPhone when I drop it. I have had hard cases for my iPhone in the past and whenever I dropped it my phone always shattered. Now my iPhone isn't affected whenever I drop it because of these cases. I enjoy how they look & feel & the protection they give for my phone.

By Thomas E. Richardson
I bought this cable as part of my attempt to solve an EMI (electromagnetic interference) problem with my laptop. The cable was of higher quality than I expected; but most importantly, using it helped address my EMI issue.

5Fits Iphone 5 perfectly
By Brian T
Nice case. I've used the Iphone 4 previously and is by far the best armband phone holder being sold (I have tried several).

Pros:
Comfortable around arm
Strong velcro which stays securely wrapped (and lasts a long time)
Fit is prefect around phone
Smaller enclosure is good to wrap excess headphone cord

No cons that I can think of. I have been very pleased with the purchase and have run several training runs both outside and on a treadmill.

4Stays dry
By Chuck
I searched reviews and manufacturer info for days trying to find one where everyone agreed it would keep the sweat off my phone. A lot of conflicting reviews. Settled on this one. Have done 5 runs in the heat with lots of sweat. Not even a fog of moisture. Haven't run in rain yet, so don't know whether it would keep water off from that direction, but definitely not soaking through the back. It's simple and comfortable, low profile and slim.

5Great for gym
By Luv M
Well made with nice cord holding features so you don't have the long extra cord to get caught on anything. The band is comfy and stretches nicely to stay in place without cutting off circulation. Best for gym worn directly against skin. Too much stretch when you put it over a sweatshirt and tends to slide with the thick sleeve. The hooked patch could be a little larger, but didn't have any problems with it. The pouch is a little bit deeper than the iphone 5 so you can easily fit ID, cc and $ behind it. Had to by another ... mine kept jogging off without me.

5My MacBok Air Loves this - Unbelievable Value
By Steve H
Firstly, this AmazonBasics 11.6-inch MacBook Air Sleeve is just that: a sleeve. It's not a case to travel with, there is no handle. However, there are many uses for a sleeve. It protects your computer on your desk at home or work when you are not using it. Furthermore, if the briefcase, messenger bag, or backpack you carry your computer in doesn't have quite as much padding as you would like in the computer compartment or it's not quite snug enough, the form fitting sleeve is perfect to add that extra protection for your cherished and costly device.

I love having the sleeve on my Macbook Air at my desk when not in use. This way I don't have to worry about a pen, or anything else with a sharp edge scratching it, etc. It's just that little protection when not in use.

With the AmazonBasics sleeve priced so low. What's not to love?

The quality? The quality is superb! Honestly, I have seen sleeves from other manufacturers easily costing 3x this much at the same quality level. The Air fits securely in the sleeve, it's not too tight and not too loose, as the description says "precise fit." It's perfect for the MacBoook Air.

Furthermore, as long as you insert the computer all the way into the sleeve and carefully close the zipper, there is just enough space and cushion that we hopefully won't have to worry about the zipper coming into contact with the computer. Still, I wouldn't carry the sleeve with the computer's weight pushing down against the zipper. Naturally, still be careful with the computer in the sleeve. If you have an impact, the computer can certainly still be damaged.

Overall, whether you use a sleeve to store your computer around the home or office, or use it as extra protection in computer bag, this sleeve won't let you down. The price is oh so right, and the quality is oh so good. Thanks Amazon. Highly Recommended!

4Nice, but too big for a MacBook Pro Retina...
By Shopaholic
This sleeve seems to be very well made. The neoprene is sufficiently thick, and the zipper seems sturdy. However, it's much too loose for a 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13.3". It is still usable, but the sleeve is a lot larger than what I would prefer.

5At first I had my doubts, but I grew to like this
By Joseph Siegler
First off, what this is not. It is NOT a laptop bag. It is described with the word "sleeve" in the title, and that is a surprisingly accurate description.

Now I didn't think I was buying a laptop bag, but when it arrived, and I saw it just a sleeve, I thought "Well, this can't be the primary transport if I want to bring a mouse and a power brick and all that". So I was mildly disappointed in that.

But I put my laptop in there, and to my surprise it worked well as a protective sleeve, hence the name. Once I got over the initial disappointment (which I admit was mostly self induced), I grew to like this. For those times when I am NOT taking all the stuff with me (power brick, mouse, etc), I can just carry this, and the overall package is lessened by not having my full laptop bag with me.

There's some room in here, it's not a tight fit for me, and due to that, I can also put my iPad in here as well, and there's plenty of room. So it's a nice carrying bag (er, sleeve) for my laptop and iPad together (should I bring them both, which happens sometimes).

If I do need the full laptop bag, I can put this entire sleeve inside the larger laptop bag as well, so in the end I ended up liking this a lot.
