4Good, but could use some improvements to build quality.
By Beau L.
This is a good dual card reader. I have a version that only reads CF cards from Lexar for firewire 800. That's actually a better built device, but you don't always have access to firewire, and can't read SD cards. This card reader works well, but the "pop-up" feature of the reader seems a little bit cheesy and doesn't always pop up easily, but otherwise had been working good so far. The pop-up feature does however allow you to transport it more compactly in your laptop case, etc.

5Check the model number on the actual reader
By jordan
Hello fellow Amazonians. I received this item and am very pleased with the build quality, size and look. The box has a label placed over the original printed box label with the current model number LRW307URBNA, but the reader has a label on it, which has the part number LRW300U which is old and I confirmed that with the mfg. Please contact Amazon if you have the same issue if you care. This is a careless mistake on Amazon's part or the mfg., but the mfg. claims Amazon must have miss packaged it somehow. I will readjust as necessary. Amazon did a refund because item is no longer available through them. Figures. I will probably purchase somewhere else like BHphoto&video for a better chance of the actual model.

Update_2012-07-14: I purchased one from B&H Photo & Video. Same thing happened. Box says UDMA 7 support (sticker) and barcode on bottom says LRW307URBNA. Inside, the unit has a model # of LRW300U. I was very curious how this happened again, so I called Lexar tech support instead of email. Well I immediately was on the line with someone who knew what they were talking about. The unit needs a firmware update. The only change from the LRW300 to LRW307 is firmware, so even if you have a LRW300, you can update it. I now raise my rating. Thanks

Update 2013-11-22: Please disregard previous reviews. It was the manufacturers fault to not update their packaging and just place stickers on the box, but everything is fine. Love the reader.

1bought two this year, both failed
By Pilgrim
I'm not product basher, but I get angry when a critical piece of equipment fails TWICE. I purchased the Lexar Dual Slot USB 3 LRW307URBNA in January 2013 and it stopped working completely in July. I didn't have time to squabble so I purchased another on July 29, 2013. Today the second device stopped working (1 of the 2 slots). I do not recommend this product.

4Its a sub-20 dollar tripod, and a decent one at that
By HHOMedia
Its a $20 tripod. You get what you pay for. I bought two different models in this price range to see which one I liked better, turns out I like them both. I shoot documentary films in outdoor, rough, out of the way settings. I did my time dragging expensive tripods through mud and setting them up in water. Expensive doesn't translate to longevity where we shoot. I put my HVR-V1U on top of this with a light and mic. Seems pretty sturdy. I will keep an eye on it while filming, but I do that with a six hundred dollar Manfrotto anyways. I think for less that twenty bucks, it's a great value. I was expecting less for sure. Someone mentioned not putting pro-sumer camcorders or DSLR's on this tripod. I'd disagree...just watch it. Use the hook to add some stability. It's a sub $20 tripod, treat it like one. If you are looking for seamless pans, this may not be your ticket. However, I lubed up the head and it seems to be a lot better. There's my 48 cents.

5Best value in a tripod I have ever seen
By D. F. Watt
If you shoot professionally for a living, you probably can afford something much more expensive than this very inexpensive tripod. if you're an amateur or enthusiast photographer on the other hand, and you spent a bunch of money on lenses and you want to save money on a tripod, this might be just what you're looking for. Although it certainly cannot remotely compete with high-end $600 carbon fiber tripods, for the money it's certainly a great deal, and works well. It's relatively stable, can hold the camera in either portrait or landscape mode, and has all the usual pivots in various axes. I'm not sure I'd trust the top release plate with a really heavy camera in a portrait orientation with a great big telephoto on the front of it (not 100% convinced that you wouldn't be putting your camera at dire risk) but aside from that limitation, it's a very good tripod - and it does handle my camera safely in portrait orientation with a medium sized telephoto without making me unduly anxious about losing my camera off the mount. If you are working with a big telephoto, would definitely use a lens collar.

Pros:

1) 72 inches tall for a professional height (means you don't have to be stooping over to look at anything)
2) full rotation in standard three axes
3) comes with a nice (albeit cheap) case
4) relatively lightweight
5) reasonable stability for a lightweight tripod
6) decent level detection (don't need that with my camera however)
7) cheap - really cheap

Cons:

1) quick release plate might not hold heaviest cameras in portrait orientation with big heavy lens
2) probably doesn't have the greatest stability relative to an hi-end professional tripod
3) rotation in vertical axis is perhaps a little bit stiff and not as smooth as more expensive tripods

3Great tripod, storage case is lacking
By Shelbs49
I purchased this tripod for my canon rebel xs. It was shipped fast (it arrived to my house within two days). The tripod is amazing, its very sturdy, has a hook to weight it down and the quick release is very easy to use. I like how the legs can adjust easily to any height within seconds. This is a great tripod, especially for the price. My only issue that I have is that when I received the tripod, the carrying case was broken. the zipper pulls apart after you zip it closed. I also did not receive the cleaning cloth that is mentioned in the item description. I sent an email to the seller asking to have a new carrying case sent, however, I did not receive a reply.

5Excellant computer
By Sharon A Thomas
I am very satisfied with this processor. It meets all of my needs, especially having a Windows 7 operating system similar to XP like I'm used to instead of Windows 8 which I can't get used to at all. I just didn't realize that it came with a keyboard and mouse and I had ordered another set. I like the compact size with easily accessible usb ports but the black keyboard is a little hard for me to see the letters or numbers. Overall I love it though paired with a nice 21 inch flat screen with excellant digital display.

5I am a ASUS Convert
By appaloosa
This ASUS CPU is exactly what I needed to replace my pricey, but out of date Dell that had an Windows XP operating system. It gets the job done and luckily was easy to set up, as I love my armoire desk and needed this shape CPU. Not familiar with the brand except for seeing my grandkids using theirs. Only thing I see as a negative is the cd slot is difficult to access when I have something plugged into the USB ports right above. Luckily my monitor has 2 ports that make this situation better. Changing to Windows 7 has been a learning process, but much easier than I expected. I definitely have very little technological training so appreciate this unit making my life easier, not more difficult. Senior citizens like me do not like change, but I have read enough to know Windows 7 would be a good alternative. and it is!

4A good Buy !
By Alexander Sloan
This is a good buy for a low end PC. Has sufficient memory and processing power for home, High School and College use. Would not purchase for gaming or business. Does not have wireless
