4Works with Epson WF-3450
By tnjgray
Update: 5/2/13 Reman Cyan and Magenta cartridges are still working. Ink status page still indicates both are full. Print quality is still good. I like these cartridges. Will install and test the reman black cartridge soon and post an update when I do.

Arrived promptly. Replaced the Cyan and Magenta cartridges in my Epson WF-3450. Initialized and recognized the new (reman) cartridges right away. Both ink levels indicate full on the diagnostic page. I don't know how long the ink will last compared to new Epson cartridges, but they are working well and I haven't noticed any difference in print quality yet. So far so good and I'm happy with the reman cartridge purchase. I will update this review accordingly.

5These are fantastic - a great savings over the name brand!
By Loren Malm
These cartridges saved me a lot of money over the "name brand" from Epson and we will be ordering again. I am glad I ordered the option with two sets. Although one of the cartridge did not work (one of the blue ones gave an error as an invalid cartridge no matter what I did) the other blue cartridge did, so I was up-and-running quickly.

Other than the issue with the one blue cartridge I would rate the cartridges very high. Easily as good or better than the ones that came with the printer.

One tip that may or may not be obvious: There is a tear-off strip on top of the cartridge which must be removed - this is a little confusing because the top part of the same label cautions that it not be removed. So you do have to tear off the bottom part of the label but must not tear off the top part - this is easily done but perhaps not obvious.

The "chip" worked well except for the issue with the first blue one described above. Regardless of the issue with the first blue one, the savings are tremendous - you could buy eight sets of these cartridges (eight!) for the cost of one of the name-brand Epson sets.

Will buy again!

UPDATE: Just got an e-mail from Blake Printing Supply - they read my review and already shipped a new blue one UPS. Can't beat that! Five star recommendation for Blake Printing Supply!

2My Printer Didn't Recognize
By Brad E.
I have a WF-3540 and purchased this ink thinking I could save some money from the ridiculously high prices the name brand ink charges. My printer wouldn't recognize the new cartridge (black) and after going round and round trying to get it to work I broke down and popped in a name-brand cartridge and everything worked great. I'm not sure if the printer itself was thwarting the use of off-brand ink or what but pretty disappointed. I'm going to try it with one of the color replacements I received once the name brand ones run out and we'll see what happens; so far it's been frustrating.
