8 foot drop to asphalt - no worries

The $10.99 for this case just paid for itself 30x over. I originally bought this case just to have the bezel the case provides to keep the screen elevated off of any flat surface it is rested on. However, as I was standing on the foot rails of a very tall vehicle, my new Galaxy Note 3 fell from my hands, about 8 feet, to the waiting, cold, hard, asphalt below. It hit on the side with a sickening "THUNK" and I immediately resigned myself to the fact that my 5 day old phone was as dead as Tutankhamen.

I climbed down and picked my phone up to find that the screen was completely unharmed. (The case wasn't even scratched.) The combination of Samsung's quality, and the protection afforded by this case saved the day.

The case is attractive, fits perfectly, and only marginally changes the dimensions of the phone. My one issue with the case is that the hole for the headphone might not be large enough for some plugs. Just a small quibble.

Excellent Case - Great Value

This is the best TPU case I have owned, and I've owned several over the years. The Note 3 is such a classy looking phone, I wanted a high end looking case for it. TPU cases generally are not classified as high end, but as TPU cases go, this is about as stylish as they come. The sculpted edges, the precise cutouts, and the simple, understated design on the back give this an elegant, premium feel that I've yet to see in any other TPU case.

Equally important, the case gives the phone a firm, solid feel. I don't plan to do a drop test, but this appears to provide good protection, with TPU cases having natural shock absorption properties. (I can't say the same for my other Spigen case, the Slim Ultra fit, which looks great but likely would provide little protection against a drop.) The ease of putting this case on and taking it off makes it convenient for switching batteries, although I don't know if that will be necessary since the battery has always gotten me through a full day. The power button and volume rocker are easy to access, as are the headphone and USB 3.0 jacks.

I own several Note 3 cases already and I have a few more expensive ones on the way, but this will likely be the primary case for my Note 3. I highly recommend it for appearance, convenience, and protection. And at $11 with free shipping, it is a bargain.

Great TPU Case for the Price!

Pros:

+ Good Quality non-slippery TPU material, very comfortable to hold;
+ Very lightweight and adds nothing to the overall weight of my Note 3;
+ Very thin, yet very securely built. Already passed a crash test from a considerable height (3ft)!
+ You can safely put it face-down on a table etc, as there is a sufficient cushion;
+ The power and the volume buttons are 100% covered, very responsive mechanism when pressing these buttons. Avoids dust accumulation around these buttons.
+ Quite easy to take the S-Pen in-out;
+ Precision cuts present a very neat and clean outlook. Overall a good case that we have come to expect from a SPIGEN cases;
+ Very easy to put on and remove.
+ And, overall a very good value for money!
