Exactly the same as those costing "Monstrously" more money!!
By Bill
Used these connectors to convert my system from older binding post connectors, and as other reviewers have noted, it takes about 30 seconds per terminal to install these connectors and let me assure you, the "Deadbolt" name really sums it up. Tighten these once and the're done. These connectors appear to be exactly the same and the "Monster" brand connectors with the exception of the name band that says "Sewell". IMHO if you are looking for a easy to install, high performance connector, you've found it!!

Much better than the generic ones
By M. Hirsch
These are a huge improvement over the generic banana plugs 24k Gold Connector Banana Plugs, Open Screw Type 24 Pack (12 Red, 12 Black) I had before. The connection with the wire is more secure and the connection in the binding posts is much tighter. It takes a little time to get everything screwed in properly with a small screwdriver, but the end result is far more satisfying. The generic plugs wiggle around in the binding post and fell out while I was repositioning my speakers just from the weight of my heavy speaker wire, but these don't wiggle at all and won't be falling out any time soon, there's no way these will ever accidentally come unplugged.
10-gauge wire is about as thick as you can reasonably expect to fit in there and get the little screw posts in tight enough to get the housing over the top. Any thicker than that and they screws poke out and you can't tighten the housing, and you'll have to trim some of the strands to get it to fit. If you're using solid wire instead of stranded, you're probably limited to more like 12 or 14 ga, I'm not sure I don't have any to try.
Anyway, I love the heck out of these Sewell Silverbacks, I'd recommend them to anyone, and they're well worth the extra $10 over the generic ones I had before.

Know your needs / wants
By Jim M.
Sewell offers 3 types of Banana Plugs all at the same price point with quality / ease of use being the difference.
As Follows: Great Quality Connection / Easiest Set Up "Sewell Deadbolt Banana Plugs with Fast-Lock Technology"
Better Quality Connection / Harder Set Up "Sewell Pro Maestro Banana Plugs w/Gold Connectors"
Best Quality Connection / Hardest Set Up "Sewell Silverback Banana Plugs Dual Screw Lock"
Understand the difference/benefit that each offers in each category is very minimal, For example Silverback offers the closest to a soldered connection as possible but you would be hard pressed to hear the difference from the other two.
Deadbolt's "Fast Lock Technology" will save you time connecting the wires (1 minute at most) to (5-15 minutes if someones misplaced your screwdriver)
I picked ease of connection over quality knowing I'll never hear the difference anyways, Also I prefer the shorter base of the "Deadbolt" design.
