A super buy at a great price for a high quality speaker!

This one is a super high quality product that is one of the great ones. The sound out of the speaker is superior and it has strong resonating bass and crystal clear treble. I hope my video can show you just how great this speaker is and how good it sounds. The amazing part about this is that this speaker sells for under $40 and compares in sound quality to speakers costing 3 to 5 times as much.

What's inside of the box?
* The beautifully designed speaker that weighs one pound and 8 1/8 ounces.
* An AC USB wall charging adapter that operates on 100 to 240 VAC 50/60 HZ and outputs 5 VDC at 1500 milli Amps. The AC wall charger has foldable wall plugs for easy packing and transportation.
* An instruction manual
* A 32 inch long auxiliary cable for your non-Bluetooth devices
* A 32 inch long charging cable

The speaker can be connected to your smart device using Bluetooth or NFC connection technology. Its Bluetooth range is about 30 feet straight line and in my test it performed nicely at that range. If you are shooting through 2 or 3 walls or more and it starts to breakup at 25 to 30 feet. The speaker uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology and I can even see the level of the speaker's battery charge on my iPhone. The speaker's battery icon is located next to the Bluetooth symbol on your phone. The speaker has a rechargeable 2500 mAh lithium battery pack and it will charge in 2 hours using the AC wall adapter that is supplied with the unit. When the speaker is charging, the LED on the side is red and it goes out when the battery is fully charged. The speaker has two 5 watt speakers in it and they really sound great. You have a mode button that allows you to switch between Bluetooth and the AUX input. (Short press of the Mode button to do this) You can skip songs forward and backward, control the volume, play/pause your music and answer and talk hands free using the speaker and your smart phone.

I show how to pair the speaker in my video as well as I play music so you can hear how it sounds. There is an on/off button on the side to allow you to turn it off and conserve power. There is also a headphone jack that allows you to output the audio to headphones or use the AUX output to connect another speaker too. Since I only had one speaker I could not test this. You can switch between earphone output and AUX output by long pressing the Mode button.

This speaker is so intelligent it speaks to you when you turn it on or off and when you pair your smart phone or when you connect. It also tells you when the connection fails. When a phone call comes in it tells you the phone number of who is calling. I love Bluetooth speakers that talk to you to help you use it.

Make sure that you remember that the volume setting of your smart device and the volume setting of the speaker are interactive. I give a good presentation of that in my video and you should take the time to watch it.

This is an outstanding speaker with great volume and sound output. For the money this speaker is a steal. You can even make and receive phone calls over the microphone built into the speaker. When a call comes in it tells you the phone number that is calling. It is like having your own personal assistant to screen your calls. I also show that taking place in the video. You can even use voice commands and SIRI. This speaker is great for music, listening to your movies or audio books. I rate this speaker as a 5 star item.

This speaker is almost perfect - EXCEPT...when you are in an office cubicle

This speaker is almost perfect except for one major flaw. It makes a lot of noise.

It absolutely breaks my heart that I will have to return it because of something other than sound/music quality

What I mean is

When you start it up - It makes a Loud boom to signal its on (And I do mean loud)
When you fast forward the tracks by using the buttons on the top of the speaker - It says in a voice "forward track"
Every time you disconnect bluetooth and reconnect - it will say disconnect and pairing
When someone calls you - It vocally announces the number instead of just making a ringing sound

SOO In an office setting it just makes too much extra "noise" that will likely bother your co workers as it did mine.

To Be Fair: Its gets an A+ on

Sound - great bass for size
Design - Really Sleek
Connectivity
Buttons on Top
Lights on Side instead on front grill (Just a little pet peeve of mine with a lot of other bluetooth speakers)

This why its so hard to return it because for the money I think its the best sounding bluetooth speaker this size

**What I would suggest to Sharkk is have a way to toggle back and forth between the voice prompts and not voice prompts. I could well well see some people liking it and some people don't. Also that Loud boom when you turn it on is unnecessary.

Sharkk Boombox Speaker Bluetooth 4.0 Portable/Chargable

I received this Sharkk Boombox portable speaker. My first instincts were wow the picture on Amazon doesnt give this device justice its actually a good sized speaker, which is good. When you turn on this device for the first time you will get chills because i did, and everyone i showed it off to got them as well. I pressed the power button and it emits this sound of mass bass, like its letting you know im a powerful device. It is so easy to link to any device, i have linked it to my laptop/Ipad,Ipod, and my Droid 4, but i was so in love with this device that i showed it off to some of my friends who had iphones, and straight talk phones and all linked easily the same as i did with my devices. When i linked it up to my devices i actually tested the distance of the connection, and it being Bluetooth 4.0 i was amazed because i have a Bose bluetooth earpiece ($150.00) and i literally couldnt walk away from my phone the distance i did with this Sharkk Boombox for only ($39.00), i walked outside with my phone and music didnt even distort at all. I also set the device on my computer desk and actually fell in love with talking on the phone clearly without any echo while having nothing in my ear. The price this company is selling this for is a steal. I'm actually ordering 2 of these for Christmas presents! Im so Impressed with Sharkk products that i actually search there items before any other brands!! keep Up The Good Work!!
